I have always wondered since I started photography- what is it that decides your style. Lately, my photography has started to get some flavor of its own. I think the key behind developing a style starts with constraints. You start experimenting within periphery of some constraints and after some time, even if you remove those constraints, you have a distinct signature which is your "style".
About the picture, the picture is part of a series I call "Road Trip Portraits". The two girls are milk women I met outside Delhi. They had about 1000 cows and they move from place to place grazing their cows and sell milk to a milk contractor at about half the market price. They know they are being exploited but they don't seem to care.
